The Rock Band

This past weekend I did my first ever rock band shoot.

They have known each other for years and been playing together as a group for the past year. Our session was downtown Minneapolis in the frigid temps! After a little while we took a break and sipped on lattes to warmed up at the "Silverspoon" coffee shop and cafe. The session went great and I am anxious to finish editing the rest!

Kiley's 9 Month Session

My first shoot in the New Year was last weekend at Ryan & April's house. You might remember Kiley from previous posts. I have taken pictures of him since he was two weeks old! Kiley is sure changing-was so active and smiley for our session. He is learning how to crawl now and LOVES to play peek-a-boo! We did venture outside for quite a few shots-there were so many great ones to choose from!

Josh & Ginna Bartlett, December 12

My final wedding of 2008 brought me once again to Colorado.
Josh & Ginna were married in the little mountain town of Evergreen. It was a beautiful, crisp morning for their small, yet intimate wedding ceremony. It was held at the "Red Barn" where there were many unique picture opportunities so I am posting a few more than I normally would.

Rhonda's Family

Well, I am back from Thanksgiving in California. It was such a fun trip and the kids were so good. While there of I of course did a few little glamour shots of my siblings and their kids which I will hopefully post soon but for now I just finished Ronda's family. She has such a sweet one year old! We had a nice morning at the Como Park Conservatory and got some great close up shots! Here are a few of my favorites!

This past weekend I was extremely busy trying to get my last few scheduled photo shoots in before the weather turned really nasty plus squeezing in time to work my other job, preparing for my sister in laws wedding this Saturday and taking my girls to the opening of the new American Girl Bistro at the Mall of America! What a weekend! I did find time to do a little shoot of just my kids on the RR tracks by my house. The kids loved that I was finally taking pictures of them! Here are the three that I will be enlarging to hang in my living room.

As far as photography goes I am slowing down for the season, just booking weddings for next year right now and finishing up all my editing. We leave for California in a week to spend Thanksgiving with my entire family-we can't wait!

Lucy's Newborn Session

You might remember Luke & Sarah from her maternity pictures taken earlier this fall (now on my website). Well they had a beautiful baby girl~Lucy! I spend an afternoon cuddling with her and enjoying how small babies are at only one month.

The Wockenfuss Family

Saturday it was around 36 degrees with snow flurries but we braved the weather for a few shots with Beth and her family. Little Jonathan was super shy and cold- we are going to plan another special day for just him to get his pictures done. So here are a few I was able to get before we called it a day!
